I think it’ll be fair to say that Sims 2 and SPORE will be “playable” on the lowest settings. The laptop you got is really meant for personal use with documents, some pictures and videos, and internet. If you wish to get your kid a machine that can play those games on the highest setting yet give you the smoothest play…it’s sad but it’s true that you’ll have to dedicate some money for that machine.
Yes, you can run Sims 2 and SPORE on the acer.
